I’ll be brief on this one, because I’m ready to get away from the screen and keyboard for a while.
I’m happy Christmas 2008 is now in the history books. I know the children are too. After all, this is the time of year that Santa Claus is almost a distant memory, and all that he left is being played with and enjoyed regularly now.
There are still reminders of Christmas though… in the form of
re-runs on TV. Right now, the Late Show on CBS has a Christmas performance on. I’d normally change the channel, but it’s Harry Connick Jr. doing a jazzy version of “It’s the most wonderful time of the year.” I’m a fan of Harry’s, so I’ll leave it on for now.
David just asked him where he got his vest (which I wondered the same thing.) When Harry answered, his mic wasn’t on. Let me rewind it to see if I can read lips…
Well, wouldn’t you know it. My DVR tells me there’s an error and it won’t let me rewind the program. I guess I didn’t need to know where to get that vest after all.
